Effective social media marketing requires CRM data | TMA Resources: Many associations still don't understand social CRM or its advantages. A report by Awareness revealed that only 16 percent of firms have a social CRM system, and 17 percent have no concept of what it's used for or why it can be beneficial. However, 68 percent of organizations expressed interest in social footprint impression. Major challenges cited in social media marketing were growing and managing social presence, monitoring social media accounts and the lack of adequate resources.
