Massachusetts Nonprofits "Underfunded, Overstretched, and Vulnerable" :: PNNOnline ::: "A report released today by the Boston Foundation provides the most comprehensive portrait to date of the nonprofit sector in the Commonwealth, identifying the wide range of organizations it includes and the myriad roles they play in the Commonwealth—as well as the significance the sector holds in aggregate for the regional economy.


Included in the report, titled 'Passion & Purpose: Raising the Fiscal Fitness Bar for Massachusetts Nonprofits,' is a “call to action” in the form of recommendations that address significant financial and organizational weaknesses in the sector that emerged from this unprecedented scrutiny."
