Maryville Students Research Charitable Giving Among Millennials: "The United Way of Greater St. Louis realized that although they have many donors to their cause, they do not have many young donors. The term Millennial was coined to describe the generation born between the years of 1982-2000. There are currently 80 million Millennials populating the United States. This is the largest population of any generation, beating the Baby Boomers by 4 million.
The United Way of Greater St. Louis realized that they were struggling to get Millennials involved with their organization and their cause, so they reached out to Maryville University for help."
