Jax Nonprofits Expect $25 Million Drop In Funding - Jacksonville News Story - WJXT Jacksonville: "JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Nonprofit organizations in the Jacksonville area anticipate a $25 million net drop in public funding during fiscal 2008, according to a study by the Jessie Ball duPont Fund, due to budget crises at multiple levels of government.
To make up for that shortfall, the study says, nonprofits would have to increase their revenues from gifts and contributions by almost 40 percent over the previous year."
