Survey: Recession stalls U.S. corporate giving - Business First of Columbus:: "Tough economic times for businesses are likely to make their mark on philanthropy efforts this year, according to a new survey by the Conference Board.
The survey, which polled 158 companies last month on planned changes in corporate giving programs, found that 45 percent of those surveyed already have cut 2009 giving budgets and another 16 percent are considering that move, according to the New York-based board."
