Hospital CEO Turnover at Historic Highs - NPQ - Nonprofit Quarterly: he American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) published its findings that annual CEO turnover has hit an all-time high of 20 percent. Since about 80 percent of US hospitals are either nonprofit or owned by state or local governments, this is big news for some of the charitable sector's largest institutions.

It revealed that a third of the public say their views towards charities have become more positive over the past three years, compared with a quarter who are now more negative.

NCVO and CAF go separate ways on giving research

NCVO and CAF go separate ways on giving research: NCVO and the Charities Aid Foundation have ditched their annual co-produced philanthropy report, UK Giving, after the 2012 report prompted much criticism within the charity sector.

The two organisations today announced that they will be building on their individual research strengths and develop “complementary programmes of research”, but have no plans to produce any more co-authored reports.

Other key factors include a school’s age, its investment in employees, endowment size, enrollment, alumni giving, and the type and location of the institution, says the study the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy at Indiana University and Johnson Grossnickle and Associates, a consulting firm to nonprofits.
