Charitable giving has bleak outlook, survey shows | HamptonRoads.com | PilotOnline.com: "The results of the study, co-sponsored by the Association of Fundraising Professionals Hampton Roads and Bonney & Co., mirrored those of a new report by GuideStar, a national organization that collects philanthropic data. Thirty-five percent of 2,730 charitable groups that responded said contributions were down in the first nine months of the year – the highest percentage since 2003."
